Whichcoffee should I use in the Espresso Maker?

We recommend using fresh, finely ground espresso coffee for the best taste.

Can Iuse instant coffee or coffee capsules?

No. The Espresso Maker is designed for finely ground coffee and does not support instant coffee or coffee capsules.

Can I make one or two cups at a time?

Yes. Use the One Cup filter and button for one cup, or the Two Cup filter and button for two cups.

Can I make Cappuccino and Latte?

Yes. Prepare espresso first, then use the Steam mode to froth the milk and complete your Cappuccino
or Latte.

Can I get hot water from the Espresso Maker?

Yes. Turn the selector to Steam mode and double-press the Steam button to dispense hot water.

Can I adjust the coffee quantity?

Yes. Press and hold the One Cup or Two Cup button until the desired amount is dispensed, then release it to save the setting.

Why is my Espresso Maker not turning ON?

Check that the power cord is properly connected, then press any touch button to wake up the machine

The machine is ON but coffee is not coming. What should I do?
+

Make sure the water tank is filled and properly fitted, and that you are using finely ground coffee. Try dispensing hot water once before brewing again.

Why is my coffee coming out very slowly?
+

This can happen when the coffee is too fine or the machine needs descaling. Try running hot water through the machine and descale it if required.

Why is my coffee not hot enough?
+

Preheat your cup with hot water before brewing. If the issue continues, the machine may require descaling.

Why is my milk not frothing properly?
+

Use chilled full-cream milk, insert the steam wand about 10–15 mm into the milk, and clean the steam wand after every use.

How often should I descale the Espresso Maker?
+

With filtered water, descale approximately every 1,500 brewing cycles. With hard water, descale every 500 brewing cycles.

Can I use tap water in the Espresso Maker?

Yes. However, filtered drinking water is recommended for better taste and reduced scaling

What type of water should I use?
+

Filtered drinking water is recommended. Mineral water can also be used.

How do I clean the Espresso Maker?
+

Allow the machine to cool, then regularly clean the drip tray, water tank, filters and steam wand using warm water and a soft cloth.

Does the Espresso Maker switch off automatically?

Yes. The machine automatically switches off after approximately 8 minutes of inactivity.
