HOW TO MAKE
1. Prepare the espresso. Fill and tamp 18–20 g of finely ground coffee in the portafilter and brew about 40 ml into each cup.
2. Steam the milk. Heat 220 ml cold milk with the steam wand until hot, glossy and finely textured, with a thin layer of microfoam.
3. Build the latte. Swirl the milk gently and pour it slowly into the espresso, keeping the foam smooth and even.
4. Finish and serve. Serve immediately in warmed cups for a silky, café-style latte.
ELLE Home Tip: Keep the milk pitcher slightly tilted while steaming to create a smooth, paint-like texture.
